“ This place is always busy and for good reason! A very established location in the heart of the old port. It has a lively warm yet edgy atmosphere, and the food lives up to the atmosphere. Knowledgeable, servers and bartenders they only meet the experience so much better. We tried the Portland restaurant week special and had three courses for 58 a steal relative to set menu prices. The appetizers were solid, not the main highlight, but complemented the meal well. The pasta entrees were spectacular. The Campanelle was exactly what I love about food a chewy fun pasta shape, hot cherry peppers for spice and brightness, a white wine, slightly creamy sauce that wasnt too heavy, plenty of fresh herbs and pepper for bite, with the saltiness and groundedness of shrimps and nduja. The tripolini a.k.a. Bolognese was delightful and familiar. While the sauce was more tomatoey and acidic than a traditional bolognese, I enjoyed the bursts of flavor abed chewy noodles and hearty meats. A less frenzied dish compared to the campanelle counterpart, but very well executed and comforting. By the time dessert came around we were stuffed, but both desserts were also perfect to cap off the meal. I would definitely take friends and family to this fun location for a great meal, fun drinks, and experiencing classic Old Port in Portland!! ”

They were so attentive and it was truly an experience. The food was unbelievable. Some of the best pasta I have ever had. We enjoyed the dinner so much, that we went the next night during our stay in Portland to try other items on the menu. ”

For the main courses, the filet stole the show, but the scallops and chicken Marsala were also incredible. And then theres the chocolate tortedont leave without trying it... What a fantastic evening. This is the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression. I cant wait for my next excuse to drive up to Portland to come back again. ”

“ This place caught my eye walking down the street. We had already had dinner but put our name on the list to sit anywhere and have a drink and dessert. One of the most beautiful spaces Ive been in. Amazing cocktails, great attention to detail in service and in every other aspect. It was a pleasure to sit at the bar and enjoy the space and my cocktail was one of the best Ive ever had. Our bartender recommended checking out the back room too which was very cool but I loved the big windows and chandeliers in the front so much so we stayed at the bar. Simply gorgeous! ”

“ The front entrance has a stunning presence and from the street the interior looked opulent. At first glance at the menu I thought it looked limited but yummy so I booked a dinner reservation. Boy was I glad that I did! The food quality was exceptional from the inhouse made bread to the inhouse fresh pasta down to desserts. The cocktails and wine selection was robust and delicious. The interior is just as opulent and sexy inside as it looked from outside, walking by. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! ”
